Students hit the High Street for Higher Education!
Date: Saturday, 14 November 2009
Time: 10:00 - 15:00
Location: In Town - Outside M & S
RUSU is holding a Town Takeover Monday 16 – 20 November to raise awareness of higher education funding, and promote a big debate taking place on campus on Thursday 19 November with all the major political parties, NUS President and Vice-president of Higher Education, Senior Management of the University and of course, as many students as possible!
To promote the week’s events, on Saturday 14th November 10am – 3pm we’re going to set up camp in town and flyer the local community about the event, take some photos, generally make a bit of fuss. We're supporting a number of artists to create some work for the public to look at while we talk to them.
'Swag Bag Stunt' - how much have you spent on your degree?
Join the RUSU Student Officers outside Palmer to collectively pile up our debt to show just how much we've already given, and now they want more?!
